ARRIVE LIMA
Upon your evening arrival in Lima, a Magical Tours Peru representative transfers you from the airport to in a great Location of Lima.
LIMA TO AREQUIPA
Pick up from hotel after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight from Lima to Arequipa (specific time depending on flight schedules.) Exchange currency and learn about the activities. You will be welcomed with a good lunch at SOL DE MAYO RESTAURANT and then take a nice City Tour of the colonial white city with Washi. You will see the mummies Juanita at the Museum to understand the area you are going to, as well the mirador of the sacred Volcano Mountain name Misti Mountaim in Arequipa and this place is famous for its good food. Dinner on your own. Arequipa is at approx. 7,660 ft. And is a UNESCO World Heritage site, Accommodation
AREQUIPA - COLCA CANYON (Brother Jose Ardubiri)
After breakfast, drive to the Colca Canyon - the Sacred Canyon to Pre–Incas and Incas, Approx. 3 hours driving. You will pass by Native communities and see many beautiful Vicuñas and birds of the Andes and natural rocks formations and other beautiful places to take good photos. Stop for a traditional Incan drink with Muña and Coca called Inca Tea. Also we will hike to the 8,000 year old caves named Sumbay and find other ones along the big Canyon because we will hike this afternoon with Brother Jose and his knowledge and visit Native people who can be on the little canyon. We will take 10 solar lights with us and install them and change their lives forever. Back near Jose home with his Permission and we will Camp for the Next Day Service in his Home. Accomodation Camp and with great Food. (B, L, D)
SERVICE AT BROTHER JOSE HOME AND REBUILT HIS GREEN HOUSE
Breakfast at the camp site starting at 6:00 a.m. and Sun Rise at those impressive Valley and Mountains that you can feel the Native American Energy from 10,000 years old stay with Brother Jose, helping him take his Lamas and Alpacas to the mountain and see the amazing Vicuñas, after fix his Green house and plant some Vegetables and teach him and plant 100 Qeuñas, native trees to preserve mater nature. For lunch we will have gathering ceremony to cook the pachamanca with our great cook special meal cooked underground like the ancestor’s plenty food for everyone. We will have many foods choices available including vegetarian and all very safe to eat. Latter enjoy the Sun Set and make a fire to warm our selfs from the sevier cold. FISHING DAY AND EXPLORATION WITH JOSE IN THE CANYON LAND
After a great breakfast we will hike to the canyon, never explore before fish along the sacred river and the Canyon We will end our day in the hot springs that are natural and unexplored where brother Adrian will be waiting for us After walk by ancient paths beautiful and unique plants with great flora and fauna of the area, fishing with in the cascades and nice experience like our ancestors did in the high mountains. Late Afternoon Drive to Chivay Town and to the Hotel for massage because more great Adventure are coming on.
EXPLORATION AND HIKE TO CHOCOLAQA NATURAL STONES
Morning great Breakfast and drive to the district of Tisco, at 4011 m.a.s.l. is one of the twenty districts that conform to the province of Caylloma. The town of Tisco is one of the 24 reductions of the Colca Valley that was created in the years 1571 to 1573. Chocolaqa stone is 1:40 hours by car. We will be back by Hike and to the Hot spring and Adrian will be with us all times if we need to drive back to hot spring at the hotel and other great night Accomodation Camp and with great Food at Orcopampa (B, L, D)
THE AMAZING “VOLCANOES VALLEY”
Departure 8:00 AM after a great rest The trip to the valley of the Volcanoes passes through the valleys of Caylloma to see the Colonial Molinos after these visits we will ascend until the „pass“ of the volcano Coropuna and descend to the valley of the volcanoes where we will turn forward to Chilcaymarca, a cute village located only 10 minutes far of Orcopampa town, where we will overnight. In the Afternoon: Visit the thermal baths of Huancarama Accomodation Camp and with great Food (B, L, D)
VISIT THE VOLCANOS AND HOME
We will visit the Panagua gorge where its waterfalls are frozen most of the year and Chilcaymarca district, remarkable is its main square, colorful houses and pottery.“Pucamaura” or Red volcano, and the river that will be accompanying us through the rest of the journey together with beautiful landscapes. We continue to the viewpoint of Ucuya where it is possible to appreciate the twin's volcanoes, Jechapita, the lagoon of Chachas. After a great late lunch Back to Arequipa for your short flight to Lima and then for your flight to the US. (B, L)
