Our Peru tour begins when you are met by our representative in Cusco Airport after your short flight Included to colonial Cusco, in the heart of the Inca Empire. Then, the next stop is Ollantaytambo site (9,185 ft.), a small town with an impressive Inca fortress, the princess baths and pink granite temples which we will explore before returning to the hotel for a great night. In the morning pick up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley at 7:00 am and drive for 30 minutes to the town of Yanahuara, here we will meet our Wranglers and Cooks. After a small briefing and we give you a small snack we will then start our hike by the most extraordinary trail and surrounded by the best and unique view that you cannot imagine, like our ancestors have seen in the Past. Thousands of Incan terraces are seen from this part of the Andes along the sacred Valley as well the sacred river we raft the day earlier. We will pass small farms, if we are lucky, we will see condors, eagles, Deer’s, native plants use as tools, lots of amazing Wakanki orchids (Sacred Tears) Inca Water Canals, parrots on this little micro valleys. We will have our cook make some great lunch using the ingredients of the farmers from the area from the diverse of microclimate terraces since the Incas. After continue our hike and get to a small community were we will see families that live like the Incas with stone and straw roofs homes. They live growing their animals like Llamas, sheep and some Cattle. Get to the Camp site to enjoy the Andean mountain and the Sunset with the Old Inca Town of Ollantaytambo In the distance. Enjoy the evening and the time there under the stars and constellations as our ancient families did, dinner will be included and all accommodation as this will be camping with great options for dinner. This Morning after a great night, we will have a ceremony with our local spiritual leader like our ancestors to be grateful to this sacred mountains in the Peruvian tradition beautiful sunrise with great breakfast. You will have time to explore the pick and see ancient building take photos and enjoy incredible views of the surrounding areas; we'll begin the return hike, to the sacred Valleys of the Patacancha all downhill to the community of Pallata and then for small hike to the ancient site of Pumamarka, the inca fortress to protect the second most important town of Ollantaytambo in the Inca time which we will explore. Begin today with a walking to the train station at Ollantaytambo. The train travels along the scenic the Urubamba River before gaining elevation and mountain views and passing through a magnificent cloud forest before reaching the town of Aguas Calientes. We will take the bus to Machu Picchu the ruins to avoid the crowds and see the sun illuminating the walls of this sacred and magical place. Exploring the mountain citadel of Machu Picchu (7,875 ft.) for about 3 hours. Late Lunch on a 5 star Belmond restaurant near the Ruins. Start the day with the unforgettable experience a Machu Picchu sunrise, the best time for photographing the ruins. Continue your explorations, climbing to the sacred peak of Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu, we will get especial passes for it and walking through cloud forest vegetation to reach the Temple of the Moon. Return to the train station for a ride back to Ollantaytambo where you will meet your driver who will take you to the Chincheros artisan market. Here, local artisans explain their craft of textile work, describing their traditional ways of shearing, processing, dyeing, and weaving from alpaca wool. Our next stop is an Incan adventure! Begin with a guided walking tour through Cusco to see the colorful markets, the colonial cathedral and Koricancha, the impressive Temple of the Sun. After great lunch of tasty local dishes, you'll stop at several prominent Inca sights, including: the megalithic stone fortress of Sacsayhuaman; Kenko, with its carved stone surfaces and subterranean altars; the small Puka Pukara fortress that protected the royal capital from attacks; and an Incan water temple, Tambo Machay. This morning relax and walk in Cusco for shopping and see the colonial neighborhood of San Blas and Cusco Center on your own, In the late afternoon be transport to the airport to catch your flight to Lima or other destination, then your connecting flight back home.
