On your arrival at any time in the capital city, Lima, you will be taken to your hotel. If you arrive early, optional tours of the city sights, including museums and other attractions may be arranged via Washington.
Caral is the OLDEST know city in the Americas. Developed simultaneously with the ancient cultures of Mesopotamia and Egypt about 5000 years ago. The archeological site of Caral is among Peru’s most impressive and makes a popular day trip from nearby Lima. The UNESCO World Heritage listed site covers an area of around 60 hectares in the arid Supe Valley. Although initially discoveredin 1948, recent excavations of Caral revealed an elaborate complex of temples, sunken plazas and some ofthe largest terraced pyramids in the world, leading archeologists to ponder the possibility of Caral being the fabled “Mother City’ of ancient civilizations. Now open to the public, the site has gamered acclaim for its beautifully preserved ruins and intriguing collection of artifacts, which include a quipu (2 unique knot system used by ancient Andean civilizations) and a number of musical instruments fashioned from animal bones, but significantly, no trace of warfare or weaponry. In the afternoon, retum to the hotel for another great night with dinner provided at a wonderful restaurant (B, 1).
In the morning, an MTP representative transfers you to the airport for your flight to Cusco, the center of the Inca Empire. Magical Tours Peru guides pick you up at the airport, stopping for a quick tour of the colonial Plaza de Armas before taking you to the Hotel to check in. After lunch on your own, spend the afternoon touring prominent Inca sights in and around Cusco. You’ll see Sacsayhuamán, a fortress with megalithic stone terraces; the carved stone surfaces and subterranean altars of Kenko; the small Puka Pukara fortress that protected the royal capital; and the water temple, Tambo Machay. In the evening, you are returned to your hotel to spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring Cusco’s fascinating mix of cultures on your own. Overnight at a great Hotel. (B,L)
We will leave the hotel and drive to see many archaeological sites and the Mirador de los Cóndor. Be sure to bring your binoculars! We will also see native communities. Arriving at the Kuelap tourist center, we will take the cable car to this ancient citadel built by the Pre-Incan Chachapoyas culture. Our professional guides will show you around the area and give you a detailed explanation of the most important and interesting areas of Kuelap fortress and the ancient city, the second most visited site after Machu Picchu. Box lunch provided at the village of Maria. Afterwards back to the hotel for another great night experience.
Today, take the opportunity to see an unmatched sunrise at Machu Picchu before the crowds arrive and spend the rest of the day among the numerous ruins a climb to the sacred peak of Huayna Picchu or a picturesque walk to the Temple of the Moon. Return midday to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch and your early afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo. Meet your private van at the train station to travel to the collective Chincheros textile market, featuring an explanation of the traditional weaving methods of the Sacred Valley and some of the best textiles available in Peru. This is the ideal place for last minute shopping. Enjoy your last evening in Peru at your beautiful Hotel. (B, L)

We will pick you up at 9:00 a.m to drive to visit the Sun and Moon Temples. located 8 km south of the city of Trujillo, doing a tour of the Moche huacas where these are, especially MOON HUACA, religious center of the Moche composed 3 and 4 places ceremonial platforms, which have been discovered overlapping six buildings built around 600 years. Also visit the New Museum of Huaca of the Moon. Before Lunch Visit the Horse show or Caballo de Paso, which this show is unique in Peru. Lunch provided at Horse Show place or a good restaurant of the Huanchaco Town looking over the ocean. After we will TOUR the biggest adobe city in the world CHAN – CHAN and its 1 palace. Afternoon back to the Hotel for diner on you own.

We will start today at 9:00 am to first visit the HUACA RAJADA or Cracked Huaca and after the Royal Tombs of Sipan (Lambayeque) National Museum of Sipán which expose the golden tomb of Sipan and is located at the Province of Ferreñafe, burial chambers and the Museum site where you can see the replicas of excavations. After good Lunch visit the Túcume Pyramids, and museum, lookout mountain stripe and walk through the archaeological zone. Afternoon back to the Hotel to Pick up Lugagges and flight back to Lima to connect home, good night. (B, L).
