SNORKEL THE NORTHERN COAST OF SAN CRISTOBAL

After a hearty breakfast and hot chocolate provided because of the cold and altitude, after you hike a winding ascending trail to rAfter a great breakfast, we will pick you up at 8:30am from your hotel and we explore the northern coast. We will visit Leon Dormido (Kicker Rock), Punta Pitt or Cerro Brujo. The visiting site depends on the week day and the Galapagos National Park regulations they are all great destination to enjoy snorkel. On our exploration trip we make sure to search the nearby coves and cliffs for sea turtles, sea lions, frigate birds, blue-footed boobies, and Nazca boobies. Here we have the chance to get up close and personal with sea lions in their favorite playground. As we snorkel, we might see eagle rays, golden rays, Galapagos sharks, starfish, clams, and thousands of tropical fish. If we’re lucky, we may even come across hammerhead sharks. After we will have our cooks will prepare many choices of food, fresh and yummy. In the early afternoon we will swim in an incredible beach and see the giant turtles in the water and swim with them. After about an hour, you come to a small straw house where you stop for snacks. Surrounded by cattle, llamas, Horses, sheep and the most spectacular bird named Wallata by the locals who they have created dances and more that shows their Connexxion with the wild life. Continuing the descent to small river name Ancascocha, you will pass through a tiny village before dropping into a beautiful valley to reach the mountain town of Ancascocha and lunch looking the blue lake of Suyru cocha, small place to relaxs and the last accend to the Pass of Wayanay which sits at 15,300 feet from here you hike into a valley with views of the famous Mt. Salkantay, stopping to take great pictures with the incredible Inca Trail along the Valley. Desent and find the small inca Ruins of Inca Racay and finally the Waterfall Camp Site of Muyu Muyu looking the snowcapped mountains.
