    FLY TO LIMA

    Most flights arrive at night. Magical Tours Peru staff will meet you at the Airport and transfer you to your hotel, located at the bohemian Area of Miraflores, easy to walk around and get acclimatize to be ready for Magical Cusco Check in, relax and enjoy your first night in Peru!

    FOOD CITY TOUR

    Morning Pick up after a great rest and good breakfast at the Hotel, our knowledgeable guide and driver will pick you up at 9.30AM and first visit the popular market one of the oldest one in Miraflores – Lima, here you will try the typical fruits from Peru that are unique to this country because of the 84 Microclimate, they are chirimoya, lucuma, tumbo, aguaymanto, granadillas, nisperos, Pitujaya and Tuna depends on the season that we are here. Also, we will explain the different variety of potatoes and legumes, types of quinoa, Nueces, pecans, types of fish that are fresh as Lima is by the Ocean. Later we will visit a family home with what we have purchased in the Market as ingredients, so the homeowner family will teach us to prepare ceviche, Causa Rellena, and Lomo Saltado typical dishes of this region, also learn to prepare pisco sours with Peruvian Brandy. Prepare of the chicha morada, famous drink of Peru. Have lunch in the house where the food is prepared as a family, to share some great experiences and share more of the variety of Peruvian culinary. Finally, Walk by the Old part of the Miraflores and Barranco Area to enjoy and understand this special places and its energy, lots of great beauty to see and enjoy, to finish your guide will take you to the Gastronomical Museum in the old part of Colonial down town.     LIMA ON YOUR OWN

    Flight to Lima and you join your private driver at Lima Airport, to drive to the most important museums in South America: the Larco Museum where you will discover the most extraordinary treasures from ancient Peru. Tour at Lima Love Park where you will see the ocean and watch the parasails’ and surfers. Then you will drive to the Huaca Pucllana Pyramid from the pre Inca Lima culture – incredible original pyramids in the heart of the city that have been built with adobes. In Mira Flores you can finish up your shopping at the Indian Market or enjoy one last taste of Lima’s famous seafood dishes. Your final meal will be at the amazing ocean front restaurant La Rosa Nautica, the price of which is included in your trip. After dinner, we take you to the Lima Airport for your flight to the US.     LIMA TO CUSCO

    We will pick you up from the hotel to drive you to the airport to flight to Cusco and Our Peru tour begins when you are met by our representative in Cusco Airport after your short flight Included to colonial Cusco, in the heart of the Inca Empire. On the way to the Sacred Valley, Magical Tours Peru guide will take you on a quick tour of picturesque Plaza de Armas after this visit the circular terraces of Moray – the Navel of the Earth. At this sacred site we will feel the connection with the three worlds represented by the Condor, Puma and Snake sacred animals. See how our ancestors built an amphitheater-like structure to study different microclimates. We will also visit an amazing salt flats operation en route to Ollantaytambo, and for those who want to stretch their legs and get a little exercise, there is an opportunity to hike down into the valley for a while and meet up with the bus further down the road. Buffet Lunch at Tunupa Restaurant at the Sacred Valley in an Spanish old Hacienda. Then, the next stop is Ollantaytambo site (9,185 ft.), a small town with an impressive Inca fortress, the princess baths and pink granite temples which we will explore. Another good night.     OLLANTAYTAMBO TO MACHUPICCHU

    Begin today with a walking to the train station at Ollantaytambo. The train travels along the scenic the Urubamba River before gaining elevation and mountain views and passing through a magnificent cloud forest before reaching the town of Aguas Calientes. We will take the bus to Machu Picchu the ruins to avoid the crowds and see the sun illuminating the walls of this sacred and magical place. Exploring the mountain citadel of Machu Picchu (7,875 ft.) for about 4 hours. Late Lunch Included near the Ruins. Spend the remain of the day climbing to the gate of the SUN or to the Inca Gate, returning in the late afternoon to the hotel at the ruins and a delicious dinner of regional cuisine included at the Luxury Hotel.     MACHU PICCHU MANDOR WATERFALL – CHINCHEROS MARKET – CUSCO

    After a great breakfast and then nature walk to the waterfalls of Mandor, with your guide and shaman. Here we will learn more about “Madre Tierra” (Mother Earth) as seen through the eyes of the indigenous people of this region; and experience a sacred ritual to connect with that earth energy. After enjoying Back to the town for a great lunch included at the Indio Feliz Restaurant or similar. Return to the train station for a ride back to Ollantaytambo where you will meet your driver who will take you to the Chincheros artisan market. Here, local artisans explain their craft of textile work, describing their traditional ways of shearing, processing, dyeing, and weaving from alpaca wool. After some last minute shopping, return to Cusco. (B, L)

    CUSCO CITY TOUR

    Our next stop is an Incan adventure! Begin with a guided walking tour through Cusco to see the colorful markets, the colonial cathedral and Koricancha, the impressive Temple of the Sun. After a lunch of tasty local dishes, you’ll stop at several prominent Inca sights, including: the megalithic stone fortress of Sacsayhuaman; Kenko, with its carved stone surfaces and subterranean altars; the small Puka Pukara fortress that protected the royal capital from attacks; and an Incan water temple, Tambo Machay. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to the comfort of your hotel to relax or explore further on your own. (B, L)

    CUSCO TO RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

    Early pick up at 05:00am from your hotel in Cusco, to the province of Quispicanchis, home to magnificent and sacred Ausangate cordillera (Vilcanota range of mountains), the Rainbow Mountains and countless other natural wonders. Along the way we’ll stop at two beautifully colonial churches and scenic lookouts. WE WILL PROVIDE HORSES FOR YOU TO GET TO THE RAINBOW MOUNTAIN We will also have a ceremony with our local spiritual leader like our ancestors at this mountains before the crows arrives, You will have time to explore on your own, take photos and enjoy incredible views of the Rainbow Mountain; we’ll begin the return hike, to the sacred Valleys of the Qeros. Passing by lakes and lots of great towns. On the way back there will be a stop at the Piki llacta Ancient site, which is amazing and pre-Inca with the most amazing sunset.     LAKE TITICACA – HOME

    After breakfast, 7:30 a.m. pick up at the hotel for a boat ride to the floating islands. There are 70 islands where the locals still wear the beautiful costumes of their ancestors’ heritage. You will ride on a reed boat like the ancient people used, seeing a diversity of colorful birds. Your boat will take you to the amazing Island Takile. This is a great location to see the Bolivian side of the lake and their part of the Andean snowcapped mountains. Surface elevation of the lake is 12,507 ft. Climb to an ancient temple (2 miles round trip, 650 ft elevation change); have a lunch of local trout on the island of Takile, which is famous for its food and weavings. Back by boat to Puno to pick up all luggage’s and be transport to the airport of Juliaca for your flight back to Lima and connect Home (B, L)

    DAY COLCA CANYON – AREQUIPA

    After late breakfast, drive to the Arequipa White city from colorful town name Chivay, which is surrounded by amazing terraces and the high peaks of the Andes. Lunch in a amazing restaurant and after You will see the mummies Juanita at the Museum. Transfer to the airport for your flight from Arequipa to Lima (specific time depending on flight schedules.)
